23 Generations of Chianti Classico

Bindi Sergardi is based in Siena, Tuscany, with roots tracing back to 1349 and 23 generations of winemaking history. The family was among the founding members of the Chianti Classico Consorzio in 1924, reflecting their long dedication to Sangiovese and the Chianti Classico region. Their estates, including Mocenni, I Colli, and Marcianella, span roughly 1,000 hectares between Siena and Florence, with vineyards benefiting from varied soils and microclimates that shape each wine's character. The winery is currently led by Nicolò Casini and his daughters, Alessandra and Maddalena Casini Bindi Sergardi, who carry the 23rd generation of the family forward. Their wine labels feature the family's historic crests and coats of arms, tying each bottle back to centuries of Sienese heritage.
