Foundations of Italy with Roland Herrmann
For our inaugural Monday Night Wine Dinner, we’re thrilled to welcome Roland Hermann, Southwest Regional Sales Manager for Maison, Marques & Domaines, whose leadership and deep industry passion have helped elevate a portfolio of world-class wines. Together, we’ll explore selections from three iconic producers: Querciabella, founded in 1974 by Giuseppe “Pepito” Castiglioni and now led by his daughter, Mita, known for expressive Chianti Classico crafted with minimal new oak; Pio Cesare, a historic 1881 family estate in Alba producing classic, terroir-driven Barolo, Barbaresco, and elegant Barbera; and Castiglion del Bosco, a storied Montalcino estate whose high-elevation, rocky-soiled vineyards yield refined, age-worthy Brunello di Montalcino.
