In Praise of Place: Wines from the Kermit Lynch Portfolio with Joanie Bonfiglio
Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant has long been celebrated as one of America’s most influential importers and retailers of fine French and Italian wines, built on a philosophy of championing artisanal producers who express the character of their terroir with authenticity and care. We are thrilled to have Joanie Bonfiglio, Western Regional Sales Manger for Kermit Lynch Wines, showcasing these wines for the evening.
We are beginning the evening with Sommariva Prosecco Superiore, an elegant sparkling wine from the premier region for Prosecco, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. This dry Prosecco showcases bright citrus and floral aromatics with refined bubbles, reflecting the elevated vineyards and sustainable practices of its producers.
From Tuscany, Podere Campriano Chianti Classico represents the soulful Sangiovese-based reds of Podere Campriano. These Chianti Classicos, grown organically on the hills above Greve in Chianti, deliver savory, terroir-driven notes of wild herbs, red fruit, and spice, capturing the rustic charm and food-friendly nature of traditional Chianti.
In Piedmont, Giulia Negri Langhe Nebbiolo exemplifies Kermit Lynch’s commitment to highlighting remarkable small producers. Crafted in La Morra, this Langhe Nebbiolo balances fresh fruit, fine tannins, and expressive aromatics, offering an accessible and distinctive expression of this noble grape.
