Built by Two Names

Cantina Roeno is a love story written in wine. Founded in the 1960s by Rolando Fugatti and his wife Giulietta, the winery's very name is a reflection of its origins — "Roeno" a quiet combination of their two names, a reminder that everything here begins with family.

The estate is rooted in Terradeiforti, a striking stretch of land along the Adige River that straddles the border between Trentino and the Veneto. It is a place of its own — neither fully one region nor the other — and the wines reflect that singular identity. Roeno has long championed both international and native varieties, but it is Enantio that sets the estate apart. An ancient indigenous grape grown on rare pre-phylloxera vines, Enantio is as tied to this land as the river itself, a living piece of viticultural history that few producers in the world can claim.

Luca D'Arcano has been instrumental in bringing Roeno's story to international audiences, connecting the family's traditions and wines with importers and wine lovers around the globe. Today, the Fugatti family continues to steward the estate with a deep commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the preservation of Terradeiforti's rich cultural and winemaking heritage.

Come spend a Monday evening with a winery that has been quietly, beautifully doing things right for over six decades.
