Friuli Reimagined: The Wines of Vie di Romans
Vie di Romans is a family-owned estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia with roots stretching back more than a century. When Gianfranco Gallo took over in 1978, he launched the property into a new era — restructuring the vineyards for high-density planting, building a three-story cellar, and beginning to vinify individual parcels separately to capture the distinct character of the Isonzo Valley. The result is a portfolio of highly concentrated, terroir-driven wines with serious aging potential, each released two full years after harvest — a signature commitment to patience that sets Vie di Romans apart.
Joining us on-site is Matteo Gallo, Marketing and Communications Manager for Vie di Romans, who will be pouring and sharing the stories behind each bottle.
